Hello Lovelies,
Since stepping into this 30th year, I have gained a new found light
and outlook that I actually thought I had lost. It's like this wind, calmly
gliding me in the right direction. When I say the right direction, I
mean the path that I know I want. It like my desires, dreams have
become more possible. The dust has settled and the clouds fogging
up the path has cleared. I know exactly what I want and I know what
I must do in order to acheive that. With age comes wisdom. No I'm
not the all knowing one but I have learned some things.
1. Time is very important, but it should not be used as an excuse not to do something. Never believe that you have missed your time or window. It is never too late to accomplish something great. Instead of using fear as a crutch, use it as fuel.
2. Cherish and appreciate your time with the ones you love. You cannot get that lost time back. Stay in touch and make more phone calls, rather than texts. Once you do not have the oportunity to be around these folks, you will realize what you had. You need that support and love to keep going sometimes.
3. Take care of your self, both mentally and physically. Be sure to have your me time because there is nothing worse that losing yourself after putting all your time and energy into everyone else. This will help you keep an positive outlook. Find things to do with your free time and keep fueling your drive. I believe it is harder to get back lost passion, than keeping the flame lit.
4. Do not let negativity or people not worth your time, distract you from your main goal/focus.There are some safricfrices that have to be made. It may be tough at one point, but in the long run, it will be worth it. Anything that does not promote growth is not.
5. Know that what you put forth in the world is what you are going to receive back. Start putting more behing your words to lead to actual results. Less talking just to talk and more doing to get it done. It just takes one physical step. It is like wanting to start the gym. All it takes is walking in and signing up. If you do not try, you will get nowhere. Believe that you can accomplish great things, but know you must work to get there.
In most movies when someone turns 30, they are thinking that they
are old and that it is the beginning of the end. Instead of taking the
usual age bashing route when one gets older, I've decided to take
the more positve approach. My 30 is all about upward momentum.
My 30 is love, light, and life. My 30 is just the beginning!
What is your __? It is whatever you make it!
-Until Next Time
